It was all I could do not to buy all three sets! I can't quite remember how much yarn there was off the top of my head (I'm away from home at the moment): I think it was 13 skeins, which look roughly 50g each. Sandy, they only had the knitting sets, nothing else - although these sets do include crochet hooks and the pattern to crochet a scarf, something that's completely new to me! I'll need a lot of luck (and probably practice with some old yarn from my stash) to get the hang of that! Did you notice if they had crochet stuff too? I understand completely the will not to buy. I say constantly I'm not gonna buy any more yarn until I use up my stash...then along comes a really good sale, and well.......another bag finds it's way into my house. lol Keep us posted. At least you have yarn to make other projects with a pattern you are more comfortable with. How much yarn was actually in the kit and did they have a good range of colours?
